78 Quintals of Ration Airdropped in Remote Areas of Banjar: DC Kullu

Kullu, Sept 7: Deputy Commissioner Kullu, Torul S. Ravish, informed that 78 quintals of ration was airdropped on Saturday in the remote areas of Banjar subdivision, including Banjar, Shrikot, and Niharni. The ration was delivered using an Indian Air Force MI-17 helicopter.
The DC said that ration kits containing flour, rice, pulses, and tarpaulins are being supplied to affected families, with priority given to regions reporting shortages. He added that while efforts are ongoing to restore road connectivity, the administration is ensuring timely relief through air supply to cut-off areas.
