Landslides Damage Vehicles, Houses and Roads in Mandi Subdivision

Mandi, Sept 4 – Continuous landslides in the subdivision are causing major damage to roads and vehicles. At Mani, a landslide from a hillside buried four parked vehicles, pushing them down into nearby fields. Locals rushed to the spot and informed vehicle owners. Fortunately, nearby houses were spared, though fields suffered damage.

In Khannar village of Kanda, heavy rains caused cracks in a house jointly owned by two brothers, forcing the family to vacate. Meanwhile, Mani’s Sheel Nallah wreaked havoc, while debris and boulders blocked the Balichowki-Thachi road at Shalari, posing a threat to homes in Naloon village.
