Father and Daughter Killed in Landslide Tragedy in Junga

Shimla, Sept 01 – Continuous rainfall for nearly 20 hours in Tehsil Junga has triggered multiple road blockages and a devastating landslide in Up Mohal Jot, Patwar Circle Dubloo. The incident claimed the lives of 35-year-old Virender Kumar and his 10-year-old daughter, along with their cattle.

Tragedy struck when their house was buried under debris. Fortunately, Virender Kumar’s wife survived as she was outside the house at the time of the landslide. Heavy rains continue to disrupt life across the region, with authorities working to clear blocked roads and monitor vulnerable areas.
