IEEE JUIT Hosts AR Development Workshop

Waknaghat, August 25, 2025 – The IEEE JUIT Student Branch, in collaboration with IEEE R10 Education Activities and the IEEE Delhi Section, successfully organized a five-day Workshop on Augmented Reality (AR) Development from 19th to 23rd August at Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT), Waknaghat.

The workshop, led by Dr. Vikas Baghel, ECE Department, JUIT, blended theory with hands-on practice, equipping students with skills in AR tools, frameworks, and applications. The sessions featured expert guidance, fostering innovation and technical excellence among participants.

Students showcased their learning through innovative AR project demonstrations on the final day. The best projects were recognized, and certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees.

The event marked a significant step in promoting immersive technologies at JUIT, strengthening the vision of IEEE JUIT SB to inspire young minds and nurture innovation.
