Nahan, August 18 – Addressing the first organizational meeting of newly appointed BJP office-bearers in Sirmaur, BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal strongly criticized the Sukhu-led Congress government. He alleged that the government has failed miserably in its three years, shutting down schools, hospitals, and welfare schemes like Himcare and Sahara.
Dr. Bindal said the Sukhu government has burdened the people with rising debt, increased fuel taxes, higher electricity and water charges, and ration price hikes. He further attacked the government for discontinuing women’s bus fare concessions and closing over 300 HRTC routes.
Highlighting the plight of women, Dr. Bindal remarked that “28 lakh sisters in Himachal are still waiting for the promised ₹1500 monthly allowance.” He added that unemployment is rising, and youth are left disillusioned without job security.
Calling the Sukhu government a “government of friends, by friends, and for friends,” he urged BJP workers to gear up for the 2027 Assembly elections to uproot the Congress regime.
