Shoolini Empowers Rural Women Entrepreneurs Through PRAGATI Visit

In a step toward fostering inclusive development and women empowerment, Shoolini University’s Rural Women Entrepreneurs Development Programme (PRAGATI) organized an inspiring visit for women entrepreneurs (sakhis) from Sanhol and Salogra panchayats. The initiative, led by Ms. Payal Jindal Khanna, Deputy Director and Head of the Centre for Leadership Coaching, aimed to provide real-world exposure and confidence to rural women striving to build micro-enterprises.
The sakhis, accompanied by their panchayat heads Ms. Kusum and Mr. Sanjay, were welcomed by senior dignitaries including Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla, Pro-Chancellor Mr. Vishal Anand, and President (Innovation and Marketing) Prof. Ashish Khosla over a special lunch meeting. The discussions focused on mentoring models and enhancing entrepreneurial outcomes through peer learning and skill-sharing.
Participants toured Shoolini’s organic farm and advanced Food Technology Lab, where they explored innovative food processing tools and techniques. Interactions with Dr. Somesh Sharma and Dr. Dinesh Kumar offered practical guidance for business growth and sustainability.
In a heartening moment, Chancellor Prof. Khosla pledged personal financial support to the visiting women, reinforcing Shoolini University’s strong dedication to grassroots leadership and empowerment.
