Bahra University Hosts ‘Sitare Himachal Ke Samman-2025’

Solan, July 3 — Bahra University, Waknaghat, became the centre of academic celebration as it hosted the ‘Sitare Himachal Ke Samman-2025’ programme, honouring outstanding students from Solan district. Over 1,200 students from 141 schools participated in this grand educational event.

Urban Development and Technical Education Minister Rajesh Dharmani, addressing the gathering, praised Bahra University’s efforts in promoting quality education and fostering innovation among students. He encouraged students to go beyond textbooks, urging them to focus on practical knowledge, communication skills, and personal growth. Dharmani highlighted the State Innovation Fund of ₹2 crore, inviting students to convert innovative ideas into startups with government support.

Bahra University Chairman Sardar Gurvinder Singh welcomed the dignitaries and detailed the institution’s continuous efforts to provide world-class education and opportunities for youth empowerment.

The event reaffirmed Bahra University’s role as a leading educational institution, nurturing the next generation of innovators and leaders in Himachal Pradesh.
