HPPSC Clarifies Allegations of Cheating in Police Constable Exam, Warns Against Misinformation

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has clarified that the Police Constable Recruitment Examination held on 15th June 2025 was conducted in a fair and transparent manner with the support of the District Administration and in strict adherence to all security protocols, including frisking, CCTV surveillance, and standard operating procedures.
In response to certain claims circulating on social media regarding cheating during the exam, the Commission stated that no evidence of such malpractice has been found so far. No reports of cheating or copying have been received from the District Administration, Centre Supervisors, or Inspecting Officers. Furthermore, upon reviewing CCTV footage of specific examination centres where allegations were made, the Commission found no supporting evidence.
HPPSC has strongly condemned the spread of misinformation on social media and warned that legal action will be initiated against individuals spreading unverified or misleading content. The Commission reiterated its commitment to transparency and accountability and urged candidates with genuine grievances to approach the Commission directly for redressal.
Any attempts to malign the integrity of the Commission or mislead the public will be dealt with strictly under the law.
