Sant Nirankari Mission Leads Cleanliness Drive on World Environment Day

Shimla, June 5, 2025: Inspired by the UN theme *“Beat Plastic Pollution”*, the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, under the leadership of Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, launched a massive cleanliness and environmental awareness campaign across 18 major hill tourist destinations in India. In Shimla, the drive began with a human chain flagged off by Zonal Incharge NPS Bhullar from the Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan.

Volunteers carried out a cleanliness drive at Kamla Nehru Hospital, which the Foundation has adopted. A public awareness rally also took place from Bemloe to The Ridge, with street plays and folk songs performed in the local dialect. Eco-friendly jute bags were distributed, and citizens were urged to minimize the use of plastic in daily life.
