World Earth Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm at Kullu Convent School

Kullu, 05 June 2025 – On the occasion of World Earth Day, a special morning assembly was organized at Kullu Convent School by Principal Mrs. Sanjana Gupta, Mrs. Vipul, and members of Paryavaran Sangh. The event saw enthusiastic participation from young students.
Students of Classes I and II showcased ‘Show and Tell’ activities, sharing practical ideas on environmental conservation and highlighting the harmful effects of plastic on health. Students of Classes III to VIII conveyed messages through slogans, poems, and tree plantation drives aimed at combating plastic pollution.
Winners of the Show and Tell contest:
- Class I: 1st – Ahaan, 2nd – Srihaan, 3rd – Rihana & Devansh
- Class II: 1st – Tanya, 2nd – Divisha & Darshak, 3rd – Yuvaan
School Manager Suresh Kumar emphasized that plastic waste severely pollutes the environment, and students must be motivated to make collective efforts to reduce it.
