Jairam Joins Tiranga Yatra in Kullu, Hails Success of Operation Sindoor

On May 18, 2025, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, Jairam Thakur, visited Kullu district and participated in the *Tiranga Yatra* organized by the *Vishva Jagriti Mission* in Nagar. The yatra was held in honor of the successful execution of *Operation Sindoor*, a decisive strike by Indian forces against terrorist and military targets in Pakistan.
Earlier in the day, Jairam Thakur visited the *Sadhna Dham Ashram* and sought blessings from *Param Pujya Sant Sudhanshu Ji Maharaj*. Addressing the devotees at the ashram, he applauded the Indian Army’s precise operations and the Indian government’s firm actions, including the suspension of the Indus Water Treaty and infrastructure development to retain India’s rightful share of river waters.
He emphasized that the *Tiranga Yatra* is not just a symbolic gesture but a public tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. He noted that people across the country are enthusiastically participating in such yatras, reflecting the nation’s unity and deep respect for its armed forces.
Prominent leaders present included former Minister Govind Singh Thakur, Banjār MLA Surender Shourie, District BJP President Amit Sood, and others.
