Student Council Formed at St. Thomas’ School, Shimla

Gauri Bhardwaj Appointed Head Girl, Yash Thakur Head Boy

Shimla, April 22, 2025: St. Thomas’ School, Shimla, witnessed the formal formation of its Student Council in a solemn ceremony presided over by Principal Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty and Vice-Principal Mrs. Sharon Nanda. The newly elected council members took the oath of office in the presence of the Principal and pledged to uphold the values of the institution.

Gauri Bhardwaj was appointed as the Head Girl and Yash Thakur as the Head Boy for the academic year. The event also marked the election of House Captains: Riddhima (Chinar House), Atirath Singh Rana (Kasturi House), Divyanshi Himta (Shipkila House), and Akshit Chauhan (Toshqui House).

In the sports category, Ashutosh Kaushal was selected as the Boys Sports Captain while Sudiksha Negi was named Girls Sports Captain. The School Council also comprises Sakshi Verma as the Head of the Tourism Club, Isha as the Head of the Philately (Stamp Collection) Club, and Divyansh Sharma as the NCC Head.

Congratulating the council members, Principal Mrs. Chakravarty urged them to work with sincerity, follow school rules diligently, and lead by example to uphold the discipline and dignity of the institution.
