Himachal Leaders Take Holy Dip at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj
1 min readShimla, Feb 08 – As the Mahakumbh in Prayagraj continues until February 26, devotees from across India are gathering to take the sacred dip. Believed to cleanse sins and bestow blessings, the Mahakumbh occurs once every 144 years.
On Saturday, BJP MP Anurag Thakur, along with his wife, took a holy dip at Triveni Sangam, sharing pictures on X with the hashtag #EktaKaMahakumbh. Before him, Himachal Deputy CM Mukesh Agnihotri and Cabinet Minister Vikramaditya Singh, accompanied by his mother Pratibha Singh, also participated in the ritual, describing it as a spiritually enriching experience.
