Himachal to Become Role Model for Balanced Development: Sanjay Awasthi

Solan, Jan 02, 2025 : Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi expressed his commitment to addressing the issues of every individual in the Arki constituency and strengthening the region’s infrastructure. He was interacting with the public after listening to their concerns in Arki. Awasthi wished everyone a Happy New Year and expressed hope that with collective support, Himachal Pradesh would become a model for balanced development in the country’s hilly regions.

Awasthi emphasized that the overall development of Arki constituency is his priority, and he is committed to it. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, historic decisions have been made to strengthen education, health, agriculture, and employment sectors. He highlighted the decision to provide English-medium education from the first grade in government schools, which will enable students to become more competitive globally and adapt easily to technological advancements.

The MLA mentioned that the state government is working towards long-term changes in the health sector, including the introduction of robotic surgery, telemedicine, and drones for delivering medicines to remote areas. These measures aim to save precious lives. He also shared that the state government is promoting agricultural diversity and helping farmers get better prices for their produce, with a new initiative for corn products under natural farming.

Awasthi praised the Rajiv Gandhi Start-Up Scheme for providing better employment opportunities and financial independence to the youth. He urged everyone to take advantage of the government’s initiatives to strengthen the state’s economy. The MLA also thanked CM Sukhu for establishing a sub-tehsil at Loharghat and converting Kunihar into a municipal council.

He announced that a bus service connecting seven gram panchayats in Arki with AIIMS Bilaspur has started, which will benefit the locals. Additionally, he mentioned that a new patwar circle will soon be opened in the remote village of Sarma.
