“Priyanka Gandhi Exposes Failures of Sukhu Government” – Kashyap

Shimla, 13 December 2024: Former BJP state president and MP Suresh Kashyap launched a scathing attack on the Himachal Pradesh Congress government, accusing it of failing to meet public expectations. Kashyap highlighted Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s remarks during a Lok Sabha session, where she criticized her own party’s government for framing laws that favor large stakeholders while neglecting farmers and orchardists.
Kashyap said this statement exposed the failures of the Sukhu-led government. He pointed out that Priyanka Gandhi’s absence from both the one-year and two-year celebration events of the Congress government indicates her dissatisfaction with its performance.
The BJP leader criticized the Congress for not fulfilling its pre-election promises, including providing one lakh government jobs, offering ₹1,500 to women, and ensuring fair prices for apple farmers. He also noted the unfulfilled promises of purchasing milk and cow dung from farmers, providing 300 units of free electricity, and implementing ten key guarantees.
Kashyap claimed that Congress’ inability to deliver on its promises reflects its incompetence and corruption. He emphasized that even the Congress high command seems to have realized the failure of the state government to align with the aspirations of the people of Himachal Pradesh.
