Government Failing on All Fronts: Randhir Sharma

Shimla, November 20, 2024 – Senior BJP leader and media in-charge Randhir Sharma launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of failing on all fronts and being controlled by the mafia. Sharma claimed that mafia activities, including illegal mining, land grabbing, drugs, and forest exploitation, are thriving under government protection. He alleged that even the transfer mafia has become active, with the government complicit in its operations.

Sharma highlighted the recent Himachal Bhavan attachment order by the High Court, calling it a significant failure of governance. He criticized the Chief Minister for blaming the opposition instead of addressing the issue. Sharma also questioned the government’s handling of the Tourism Department’s hotels, suggesting they might be leased to close associates under a larger conspiracy.

Sharma further accused the government of wasting public funds on legal battles to protect unconstitutional positions like CPS, while neglecting key governance issues. He remarked that the Chief Minister’s focus on personal image-building through PR activities has turned the state into a laughingstock.

Sharma urged the Chief Minister to prioritize public welfare and make meaningful decisions to restore the state’s reputation.
