Dehra, July 7, 2024:
In the ongoing by-elections in the Dehra Assembly constituency, BJP candidate and former MLA Hoshiar Singh has accused Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu of disgracing the prestigious traditions associated with the office of the Chief Minister. Hoshiar Singh stated that Sukhu has undermined the honor and expectations of the people of Himachal Pradesh through false promises.
Hoshiar Singh emphasized that the esteemed traditions connected with the Chief Minister’s office have been severely tarnished under Sukhu’s tenure. He alleged that the Sukhu government is resorting to all kinds of tactics to suppress the voice of the people in Dehra during the by-elections. He also mentioned that if Sukhu had initiated developmental work in Dehra, the need for by-elections wouldn’t have arisen.
Hoshiar Singh criticized Sukhu for shifting the blame for his failures onto others, asserting that the public is well aware of the realities. He declared Sukhu responsible for the current by-elections in the state, stating that Sukhu had not visited Dehra even once in the past 15 months, and now he is compelled to beg for votes for his wife.
Launching a verbal attack on Chief Minister Sukhu, Hoshiar Singh acknowledged Sukhu’s political power but warned that bad outcomes result in bad endings. He mentioned that the people of Himachal Pradesh are fed up with the Sukhu government and yearn for relief. According to Hoshiar Singh, the day is not far when the current government will be overthrown and a BJP government will be established in the state.
The BJP candidate expressed confidence in winning the upcoming by-elections in the Dehra Assembly constituency with a significant majority, thanks to the blessings of the people. He highlighted that he has previously won the Dehra elections twice as an independent candidate and now aims to secure a victory as a BJP candidate.
