Himachal Pradesh to Host Women’s National Football Championship at Anu Stadium from November 21

Hamirpur, November 19 – The Women’s Senior National Football Championship for Group F will kick off from November 21 at Anu Stadium in Hamirpur, as announced by Sunil Sharma Bittu, the political advisor to the Chief Minister and the President of the Himachal Pradesh Football Association.

Sunil Sharma Bittu highlighted that it is an honor for Himachal Pradesh to host the Women’s Senior National Football Championship for the first time. In addition to Himachal Pradesh, teams from Indian Railways, Bihar, Andaman and Nicobar, and Maharashtra are participating in Group F.

Bittu emphasized that all necessary arrangements are being made for the successful organization of the competition. He expressed hope that this championship will promote football on a larger scale in Himachal Pradesh, providing significant exposure to women football players in the state.

Sunil Sharma Bittu mentioned that hosting a national-level competition will inspire girls in Himachal Pradesh to adopt football and contribute to the sport’s growth in the region. He appealed to sports enthusiasts, especially female athletes from Hamirpur district, to attend the matches at Anu Stadium and support the event.
