From Scandals to Development: BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal Highlights India’s Progress

Underlining the period from 2004 to 2014 as a time of disappointments and scams during the Congress-led government, BJP State President Dr. Rajeev Bindal praised the post-2014 era as a phase of significant development in the country. He emphasized the resolution of the Kashmir issue, the impending realization of the Ram Janmabhoomi dream, and upliftment of farmers and the poor under Prime Minister Modi’s consistent efforts.
According to Dr. Bindal, the BJP government, unlike the disheartening tenure of Congress from 2004 to 2014, has focused on constructive policies. He cited scams like the coal scam, 2G scam, 3G scam, and others that marred the country’s image during the Congress regime. In contrast, he praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for bringing about positive changes and international acclaim.
Dr. Bindal highlighted the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A in Jammu and Kashmir by the Modi government, asserting that the region, which was in disarray during the tenure of Sonia Gandhi and Manmohan Singh, has witnessed progress and peace under the current leadership.
He drew attention to the upcoming reality of the Ram Janmabhoomi, reminiscing about the sacrifices made by kar sevaks during the Ram Janmabhoomi Andolan in 1990-1991.
Furthermore, Dr. Bindal commended the Modi government’s initiatives, such as the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, providing financial assistance to farmers, and the distribution of free ration to 80 crore people during the COVID pandemic.
In contrast, he criticized the Congress-led UPA government for wastage of food grains, stating that thousands of tons of grains were dumped into the sea between 2004 and 2014.
Dr. Bindal concluded by pointing out the accelerated pace of infrastructure development in the country, particularly in Himachal Pradesh, under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY). He emphasized that the BJP delivers on its promises, ensuring a positive transformation in the country.
