Horticulture minister to visit Nauni varsity on October 19,

Sample processing unit of Advanced Leaf and Soil Analysis lab to be inaugurated

Solan, Oct 18 – The Revenue, Horticulture and Tribal Development Minister of Himachal Pradesh Shri Jagat Singh Negi will be on a one-day visit to Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry Nauni on Thursday. He will be inaugurating the Sample Processing Unit of the Advanced Leaf and Soil Analysis Laboratory established under the Himachal Pradesh Horticulture Development Project(HP HDP) at a total cost of Rs 50 lakh. The Horticulture minister will also be conducting field visits to the university fruit nursery and gene bank. Besides, he will visit tissue culture, Electron Microscopy and Forest Products laboratories. An interaction session with the university scientists will also be held on the occasion.
