Anurag Singh Thakur, the Central Minister and Member of Parliament from Hamirpur, has released the list of 21 boys selected for the second phase of the immensely popular India Darshan Yatra (Tour of India for Students). After previously organizing trips for girls, the initiative is now extending to boys, aiming to provide them with a unique educational experience. India Darshan Yatra is an educational tour organized free of cost for meritorious and outstanding students in Anurag Singh Thakur’s parliamentary constituency.

In the past five years, 101 children have been fortunate enough to partake in this journey. From October 25th to November 1st, a group of 21 students, along with selected distinguished teachers, will embark on a special trip to explore various destinations, including Delhi and Gujarat.

“Ek Se Shreshth” (One Better than the Other) is a pioneering initiative by the Central Minister, where children receive free education, including all necessary educational materials. Currently, there are 475 centers operating in the parliamentary constituency, which has not only provided employment opportunities for women but also offers better education to over 9,000 students.

These centers provide children with a daily protein milkshake, and modern education is delivered to students through digital devices like laptops and learning kits. The India Darshan Yatra 2023 is open to students who passed their 12th-grade exams in 2021, 2022, or 2023 and have demonstrated exceptional performance in areas such as academics, sports, and the arts. Interested students can apply online, and the selection process includes a written application test and an interview.

This initiative by Anurag Singh Thakur aims to provide meritorious students with a platform to enhance their knowledge, explore India’s diverse culture and heritage, and gain unique experiences that contribute to their overall development.
