55-Year-Old Man Dies in Train Accident in Mehatpur

Una, September 15: A 55-year-old man died after being hit by a train in Mehatpur. The deceased has been identified as Preetam Chand, son of Hukm Roy, a resident of Raipur Sahoda. Railway police have taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Railway police have also initiated an investigation into the case. According to information, on Friday morning, the body of a man was found lying in a pool of blood near the Mehatpur railway tracks. Upon receiving the information, the railway police arrived at the scene and took possession of the body. After questioning local residents, the deceased was identified as Preetam Chand.

Una Railway Station in-charge Purushottam Chand stated that the police had taken possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. Further action is being taken in the case, including determining which train was involved in the accident.
