Landslides Wreak Havoc in Shimla After Continuous Heavy Rainfall

Shimla, August 13: The havoc of continuous heavy rainfall continues in Himachal Pradesh. After the persistent rain since Friday night, incidents of landslides are being reported from various places. In Shimla, the capital city, due to heavy rainfall in Dhalli, three vehicles parked in a park by the road were caught in a landslide today.

Vehicle owners and local residents reported that the incident occurred in the morning. Three vehicles parked in the park by the road were buried under the landslide. JCB and crane are present at the scene to remove the buried vehicles.

It should be noted that on Sunday morning, continuous landslides are also occurring near Hotel Himalay near Shimla. The road is closed for traffic, and the building has been evacuated from there.
