The first episode of “व्यक्तित्व – बातचीत का कारवां” showcased a delightful conversation between Sriniwas Joshi, a well-known personality of Shimla City, and Aahr Singh, a talented class nine student from Auckland House School, Shimla. The event was held at the Brews & Books Café, Shimla, and it marked a significant step towards fostering communication between generations.

Sriniwas Joshi, a columnist, theater artist, and retired civil servant from Himachal Pradesh, graced the show with his presence. Renowned for his column ‘Vignettes’ in a known English daily, Joshi has beautifully documented people, history, places, and special aspects throughout Himachal Pradesh. As a theater personality, he has contributed to Shimla’s historic Gaiety Theatre with his plays as a writer, actor, and director. Additionally, his active involvement in various civic works in Shimla, including heritage conservation, environmental protection, and promotion of arts, further reflects his diverse talents and contributions.

The show began with a glimpse into Joshi’s early life experiences, followed by a delightful reading of one of his favorite stories and an essay, which left the audience both amused and connected to the underlying messages. Aahr Singh, displaying remarkable poise and confidence, skillfully steered the conversation, showcasing the positive impact of such interactions on the character and confidence of young minds.
