Yoga-Gyanotsava organised at Shoolini Univ

The School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies at Shoolini University hosted a curtain-raiser programme for Yoga-Gyanotsava. The event was held to mark the 68-day countdown to the 9th International Yoga Day-2023, in collaboration with the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.
The event was held in three phases, with over 200 yoga enthusiasts participated in common Yoga protocol practice. Guests of the event were Prof. Rajeshwar Chandel, Vice Chancellor of Dr. Y.S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, and District Ayush Officer, Dr. Praveen Sharma. The Chief Learning Officer, Dr. Ashoo Khosla, Shoolini Univeristy, felicitated all the guests.
On the occasion Yogic conceptual lectures on the theme of “Yoga for Spiritual Awakening,” which were delivered by keynote speakers, including Prof. G.D Sharma, former Dean of Patanjali University, Dr. Satya Prakash Pathak, Assistant Professor, Himachal Pradesh University, and Dr. Ajay Dubey, Assistant Professor, Swami Rama Himalayan University. The speakers delivered sacred lectures on Yoga and Spirituality.
The welcome note was delivered by Prof. P.K. Khosla Chancellor Shoolini University. He shared his views on the Era of Yugas. The event also featured a cultural programme where the students of the School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies gave beautiful performances, including cultural dance, singing, and Yoga demonstration and play. The session ended with a formal vote of thanks by Dr. Mala Tripathi.
Dr. Subodh Saurabh Singh, Head of School, School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies, said Yoga-Gyanotsava was a highly successful and enlightening event, which provided an excellent platform for yoga enthusiasts to learn more about the spiritual and mental benefits of practicing yoga. The event showcased the University’s commitment to promoting the importance of yoga and its contribution to overall wellness.
