It is also clarified in the documents that the government will not wait for five to six months for the arrival of the chopper.
After the tender is allotted, the company will have to provide the helicopter to the government within 15 days. It has also been clarified that if needed, the state government will take the services of fixed wing aircraft to come to Himachal from outside the state and from outside the state. Helicopters and aircraft are also used for services in tribal areas apart from the Chief Minister’s tour.
The Himachal government has a helicopter of AgustaWestland Company. This helicopter is a six seater. The company’s tender is going to end on April 30. Now the state government is going to take 6 to 8 seater helicopters on lease. Secretariat General Administration says that applications have been sought from companies till 10 April. Tender will open on 11th April. The tender will be given to the company whose rate is lowest.
