Shoolini university interdepartmental sports meet 2022

Shoolini University organised a four-day interdepartmental sports competition 2022 in which the Faculty of Basic Sciences took home the overall championship trophy with 15 medals, while the Faculty or Management Sciences came in second with 7 medals.
Badminton (singles, doubles and mixed), Basketball, Football, Table Tennis (single and double), Chess, and Carrom Board were among the 15 indoor and outdoor games in which students participated in large numbers.
Ankush took first place in the badminton men’s singles event, with Mayank and Aditya coming in second and third, respectively. The badminton men’s doubles combination of Ankush and Rahul won the competition, with Tushar and Mayank coming in second and Rajiv and Vikrant coming in third.
Hansika took first place in the Badminton girl’s singles event, followed by Babita and Vaishnavi in second and third place, respectively. In the badminton girl’s double competition, the team of Hansika and Vaishnavi came in first, followed by Babita, Pooja, and Khyati, Geetika, who came in second and third. Vipul and Veenu won the mixed doubles event, while Gaurav, Vaishnavi, and Hansika, Mohit came in second and third, respectively. Suraj, Naman, Dilip, and Abhishek from BTech CSE won the basketball game for boys, while Aayushi, Janhavi, Dechan, and Pushti from Liberal Arts won the game for females.
Bioengineering A Team and Bioengineering B Team competed in a football tournament. Saurav, Abhinav, Bhuven, Yashpal, and Himanshu from Bioengineering A Team won the tournament. Udit Sharma won the boys’ table tennis singles event, with Arya and Shashank coming in second and third, respectively. The boys’ doubles tournament was won by Raghav and Anmol’s combo. Angma took first place in the girls’ singles tournament. Abhishek Sharma took first place in the chess game, with Karan and Rishav coming in second and third, respectively. Yamini and Kritika took first and second place in the carrom board game, with Utkarsh, Anirudh, and Ankit, Rohit taking second and third place, respectively.
The winners were presented with trophies and certificates at the valedictory ceremony on June 8. Coaches, college captains, boys and girls, and the organising head were also honoured.
