BJP condoles the detah of Veteran Congress leader and former Union Telecom Minister Pandit Sukh Ram who died at 94

Shimla, BJP national president Jagat Prakash Nadda, National vice president Saudan singh, State incharge Avinash Rai khanna, State Co Incharge Sanjay Tandon, BJP State President Suresh Kashyap, General secretary Rakesh Jamwal, Trilok Jamwal, Trilok Kapoor and organisation general secretary Pavan Rana condoled the death of Veteran Congress leader and former Union Telecom Minister Pandit Sukh Ram who died at 95.

Suresh Kashyap said that we pray that the almighty gives his family the strength to withstand this tragic moment. May the departed soul rest in peace.
Sukh Ram was a visionary leader and an out standing parliamentarian, this is an irreparable loss to our state.
National President Jagat Prakash Nadda said Shocked to hear about the passing away of former Union Minister and our senior colleague Pandit Sukhram ji. May God give him a place at his heavenly abode and give strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense loss.
Sukh Ram was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi on May 7.
Sukh Ram suffered a brain stroke on May 4, following which he was admitted at the regional hospital in Himachal’s Mandi. From there he was airlifted to Delhi on Saturday for treatment at AIIMS.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on May 7 provided a state helicopter for airlifting the Congress leader to Delhi.
Sukh Ram was the Union Minister of State, Communications (Independent Charge) from 1993 to 1996.
He won the Vidhan Sabha elections five times and the Lok Sabha elections three times.
Sukh Ram represented the Mandi Assembly seat from 1963 to 1984.
