Students bring laurels for Shoolini University

Two students of Shoolini University, Purvi Bhushan and Shriya Mahajan, were awarded the Kautilya National Awards for Young Achievers at the 15th Global Communication Conclave organised by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) in Goa recently.

Purvi was awarded the ‘Spirit of Youth’ Kautilya Award 2021 and the 2nd position in YCC Category for National talent Hunt Webinars. Shriya was awarded the Kautilya Award for ‘Excellence in Digital Content’ for outstanding contribution to the youth and society.

These awards were presented by Governor of Goa Mr. PS Sreedharan Pillai.

Young Communicators Club (YCC) of Shoolini University is part of the Chandigarh Chapter which is headed by Mr Vivek Atray. YCC Chair Purvi Bhushan, Co-Chair Shriya Mahajan, and member of the YCC Logistics Team Alisha Mahajan attended the conclave.

Purvi also moderated a session on ‘Education – Boosting Education Domain through Effective PR’. Shriya was a speaker for the session on ‘Innovation in Communication – Trends to follow in changing times.’

Mr Atrey won the Special Jury Award in the Inter Chapter Talent Hunt Competition while senior journalist Vipin Pubby bagged the third prize in the moderator category.

Chandigarh won the ‘Best Chapter of the Year’, ‘Special Jury Award in Best Feedback from the audience’, ‘Best Media Coverage’ and ‘Highest Number of Webinars during pandemic’.

The conclave saw the attendance of corporate honchos, media veterans, PSU heads, and communication experts. Several delegates from the PR, HR, Event Management, Media, and Corporate Communication participated in the proceedings.
