Ayurveda day to be dedicated to Covid epidemic prevention

Like every year, this year too, on the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti, on 13 November, at 11 am, Ayurveda Day will be organized in the District Ayurveda Hospital Mandi.
Dr. Govind Ram Sharma said that since 2016, Dhanvantari Jayanti is celebrated as Ayurveda Day every year. This year, this day will be organized with the aim of making people aware about increasing disease resistance by Ayurveda in the corona epidemic.
He told that the purpose of Ayurveda Day is to focus on the powers of unique healing principles from Ayurveda. The objective of Ayurveda Day this year is to prevent the corona epidemic through various aspects of the Ayurveda system.
He told that this day will also be organized in sub-divisional level Ayurvedic health centers in the district.
Giving this information, District Ayurvedic Officer Dr. Govind Ram Sharma said that Additional District Magistrate Shravan Kumar Manta will be present as the Chief Guest on the occasion of Ayurveda Day.
