Conference on social sciences inaugurated

Himachal Pradesh Education minister Mr Govind Thakur today inaugurated the prestigious Yogananda International Conference on Contemporary Issues in Social Sciences-2021 (YICCIS-2021) organised by the Faculty of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts of Shoolini University.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Thakur said it was essential to adopt modern technology for the spread of education. He said Himachal Pradesh Government’s Education system was overcoming the current situation with the help of technology and advancements such as online education system and dynamic curriculum. He encouraged students to be dynamic and full of positivity in their life.
Mr Thakur also lavished praise on the education fraternity of Shoolini University and said it had stayed ahead despite the setbacks provided by covid pandemic due to quick adoption of technology.
Earlier, the Chancellor Prof P K Khosla thanked the chief guest and briefed him about the technology adopted by the University. He pointed out that emphasis on research has always been a top priority with the University. He also talked about the importance of science and yoga with respect to human behaviour and society.
Guest of honour Col Dhani Ram Shandil, MLA, addressed the conference and talked about advancements in the curriculum of education. He said online education is taking a great leap and praised the hard work and grit of fraternity of Shoolini University to be able to rise of the challenges of pandemic has offered.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla addressed the conference and spoke about Management Sciences and their importance. He also emphasised on the collaborative effort required for the success of any organisation.
Convenor of the Conference, Director MBA Programme, Prof. Kuldeep Chand Rojhe, welcomed the chief guest and highlighted the significance of the conference.
Dean Research, Prof. Saurabh Kulshrestha pointed out that Shoolini University’s mission was to be among top 200 global universities and it was on the right course.
Assistant Professor Dr Ankita Verma moderated the conference while vote of thanks at the end was given by Dr. Vinay Negi of FMSLA.
