Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania to Spend 69th Birthday with Disaster Victims

Chandigarh, Sept 17 – Himachal Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, born on 17th September 1957 in Chhalara village of Bhattiyat constituency, has announced that no celebration will be held on his 69th birthday this year. Instead, he will dedicate the day to sharing the grief of disaster-affected families, listening to their concerns, and ensuring immediate relief and facilities in coordination with the district administration.
Officials and staff of the Vidhan Sabha Secretariat have extended their greetings and wished him good health and long life.
Pathania, who recently attended the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Conference in Bengaluru, reached Chandigarh on 15th September and will remain in district Chamba until 18th September. His visit includes meetings with flood-affected families and a review with district officials on ongoing and future relief measures.
He emphasized that the Himachal Government is committed to supporting disaster victims, noting that the state has already been declared disaster-affected and new guidelines will ensure maximum compensation for losses.
