SJVN Limited Organizes All India Official Language Seminar

Shimla, March 28, 2025 – SJVN Limited organized an All India Official Language Seminar at its Corporate Headquarters, Shimla, following the directives of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. The event aimed to promote Hindi usage among employees and encourage healthy competition in official work.

The seminar was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel), in the presence of Chandra Shekhar Yadav, Executive Director (HR), S. Marasamy, Executive Director (Civil), senior officials, and employees. Hindi Advisory Committee members Yatindra Kumar Kataria, Puran Chand Tandon, Birendra Kumar Yadav, and Kumar Pal Sharma, Joint Director (Implementation), Ministry of Home Affairs, participated as speakers.

Addressing the gathering, Ajay Kumar Sharma emphasized the cultural and administrative significance of Hindi, urging employees to remain dedicated to its promotion. The seminar provided a platform for discussions on enhancing the practical and administrative use of Hindi.

Speakers shared insights on Hindi’s global status, its role in Indian knowledge traditions, and constitutional provisions regarding its usage. Chandra Shekhar Yadav highlighted the importance of integrating Hindi into daily administrative and technical work, reinforcing its role as a symbol of unity in diversity.
