Red Run Marathon Organised to Raise AIDS Awareness Among Youth

Bilaspur, July 29: The Health and Family Welfare Department, Bilaspur, organised a 5 km Red Run Marathon under the State AIDS Control Programme as part of Youth Fest–2025. The event was flagged off by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Shashi Dutt Sharma from Shaheed Smarak. Young participants took part with enthusiasm, spreading awareness about HIV/AIDS. Winners in both male and female categories were felicitated and will represent the district in the state-level competition in Shimla. Dr. Arshya, District AIDS Programme Officer, informed that cash prizes will be awarded at the state event.
