Governor and CM mourn demise of former Minister

Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla and Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu have expressed grief over the demise of former Minister Kishan Kapoor who passed away at PGI Chandigarh today morning. He was 73.
Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla said that Kishan Kapoor was a dedicated leader and worked tirelessly for the welfare of the people of Himachal Pradesh. His contribution to the progress of the state will always be remembered. He extended his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for their strength in this difficult hour.
The Chief Minister said that the contributions of Kishan Kapoor for the development of the State especially for Dharamshala assembly constituency and Kangra Parliamentary constituency were immense which will be remembered by the people for a long period.
He prayed to the Almighty to give peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.
