BJP Will Continue to Fight for Public Interest: Jairam Thakur

Shimla, March 28, 2025 – Leader of Opposition and former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur stated that the BJP will continue to raise public interest issues both inside and outside the Assembly. Speaking to the media after the Himachal Pradesh Assembly session, he emphasized that the party will keep questioning the government and ensuring accountability for the welfare of the people.

Thakur pointed out that this year’s budget session was one of the shortest, with only 15 sittings, but MLAs actively raised issues related to their constituencies. He assured that BJP would continue to voice the concerns of the people and fight against corruption and mafia rule in the state.

He also highlighted that the Himachal Pradesh Assembly has always set high democratic standards, earning appreciation from lawmakers across the country who observe its proceedings. He praised all members for maintaining the dignity and credibility of the House.
