SSB women constable Bags Silver in Asian Boxing Championships

Delhi, May 31 – The Sashastra Seema Bal’s (SSB) women constable Lalbuatsaihi has won Silver Medal on Sunday in 64 kg category in the ASBC Asian Elite Men & Women Boxing Championship at Dubai. The international boxing championship was organized in Dubai from May 21 to June 1, 2021.

SSB wrestler Lalbuatsaihi faced Milana Saltrono of Kazakhstan in the Final bout, the SSB spokesperson said, adding that Kuwait and Uzbekistan won Bronze Medal.

The Elite Boxing Championship is attended by 150 boxers in men and women’s categories with a US Dollar 400,000 prize fund. Over 17 nations are represented at the tournament, including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Indonesia, India, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kuwait, Laos, Mongolia, Philippines, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.
