Ravi Kishan Duped Of Rs 3.25 Cr, Case Lodged
1 min readGorakhpur, Sep 28 – Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP from Gorakhpur Sadar seat and film actor Ravi Kishan has lodged a complaint with Cantt police station in connection with a fraud of Rs 3.25 crore, police sources said here on Wednesday.
Police sources said that the MP gave a complaint alleging that in 2012 he gave Rs 3.25 crore to a Mumbai-based businessman Jitendra Jain in connection with some work. “He has alleged that when the work was not done Jain gave him a cheque of the same amount which bounced,” they said.
Police sources said that Ravi has alleged that despite repeated reminders the businessman was not returning his money back. “The MP has also accused the businessman of harassing him mentally and financially. On the complaint of the MP a case has been lodged at Cantt police station and the matter is being investigated,” they said.
