2 min readUnder the aegis of SJVN Foundation, Keekli Charitable Trust is organising a Hindi story writing competition for the students of Class 3 to 12 studying in government schools of Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh.

Best 31 stories will be published in as an anthology of short stories.
This is the time to start creative endeavours. You create a story and let the narrative flow on paper, taking the help of words to weave them. We all have been hearing wonderful stories from our grandparents, uncles and parents since childhood. Some inspired us, some showed us our dreams and some scared us. Some helped our imagination to fly while some stories taught important lessons of life. Any important event that happened in your life can also become a story.
It is pertinent to share that SJVN is a leading power generation undertaking in India. The Corporation is discharging its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with utmost responsibility. Under CSR, the corporation has done commendable work in the areas of education, health, infrastructural development, community development, child and women development, natural disaster literature, etc., in the rural areas adjacent to the projects. In this episode, these competitions will also be organized in collaboration with Keekli Charitable Trust.
This story writing competition organised by Keekli Charitable Trust will help our young writers studying in schools to become published writers through their amazing stories. The jury of this competition will include eminent and well-known writers like Sh Srinivasa Joshi, Dr. Sangeeta Saraswat and Shri Atma Ranjan.
The interested participant in this contest shall submit his/her entry in PDF format mentioning his/her class, school name, address, phone number and email id and mail it at keekli.500@gmail.com latest by May 31, 2023. The word limit for the original story will be 1000 to 3000 words. Only one entry per participant will be accepted. All the participants will receive a certificate and the winning participants will receive a certificate as well as a copy of the book.
Keekli Charitable Trust is a non-governmental independent organization working in the field of education, women empowerment, social upliftment and organizing literary events, workshops and competitions for children since inception. In the year 2021, Keekli Trust organized an all India short story writing event which culminated in the publication of 51 stories. In the year 2022, the trust prepared two collections under its unique vision.
