Youth Found Dead, Investigation Underway

Nahan, Oct 11: In a shocking incident that unfolded approximately 10 kilometers from the Sirmaur district headquarters in Shambhuvāla, a young man from Rajban, Paunta Sahib, met a tragic end. The incident occurred during the night, and the body was subsequently sent to Dr. VYSP Medical College for post-mortem examination.
However, after the post-mortem, the grieving family faced distress when there was no arrangement made for transporting the body home. As of the latest update, there was no provision for a ‘corpse vehicle.’
Additional Superintendent of Police Somdatt is leading the investigation. The deceased, identified as Madan Lal, a 30-year-old resident of Rajban, was reported to work as a JCB operator professionally. The details surrounding the circumstances of the alleged crime remain undisclosed. Nevertheless, police have registered a case under IPC section 302 and are conducting a thorough investigation.
