‘Yoga Mahotsav’ begins in collaboration with AYUSH

Shoolini University’s School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies organised ‘Yoga Mahotsav’ to commemorate the countdown programme for 8th International Day of Yoga 2022. It was done in collaboration with Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga under the Ministry of AYUSH.
Chief Guest at the event was Dr. Rajiv Saizal, Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh. The event was held in hybrid mode at the Mohan Shakti National Heritage Park near Solan. It was followed by guest lectures and a cultural function in the campus.
Shoolini University Chancellor Prof. P.K khosla welcomed Dr. Rajiv Saizal Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh. About 150 Yoga participants from Shoolini University and various other organisations. joined offline and more than 1000 participants joined the session online.
Dr. Rajiv Saizal addressed the audience and talked about the importance of yoga among youth. He congratulated Shoolini University for organising a successful programme and wished all the best for the upcoming programmes of “Yogotsav”. He also said that Yoga is our culture and we will work together to promote it on the bigger platform.
Prof. Khosla said Yoga is very useful for a healthy life and encouraged the students to practice yoga for better concentration.
Shoolini University President Mrs. Saroj Khosla also participated in the Yogotsav.
Mr. Shrinivas Krishna Murti, Poorv PrantvPracharak RSS,emphasised on the need to practice Yoga for long and healthy life and also presented the vote of thanks.
