World Water Day Awareness Campaign Held at JUIT

A World Water Day awareness campaign was organized by Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) on March 22, 2025. The event aimed to emphasize the importance of water conservation and sustainable management.

Rally and Community Engagement
The campaign began with a rally from the bus stop to the main market, Lower Waknaghat, and Bisha village. Participants raised slogans advocating for water conservation and engaged with local residents. The team discussed strategies to minimize water wastage and ensure access to clean water.

Meeting with Gram Panchayat
The members later visited the Gram Panchayat Waknaghat and met with the Gram Pradhan. They discussed community-level water conservation initiatives and addressed pressing concerns such as water scarcity, pollution, and inefficient management.

Successful Campaign
With active participation from volunteers and strong community support, the campaign successfully reinforced the urgency of responsible water usage.
