Workshop on Ayurvedic Healing started at Shoolini Univ

A three-day long workshop on “Ayurvedic Healing” was inaugurated by Shoolini University Chancellor Prof. P.K. Khosla on Tuesday.
The workshop is being organised by the School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Sciences.
Dr. Ajeet Tiwari, Nadi Vaidya, Panchkarma Specialist, Ayurvedic Medical Officer, Government Ayurvedic Hospital, Almora, Uttarakhand, and Co-ordinator of the De-addicted Centre, Almora, Uttarakhand, was the workshop’s special guest and keynote speaker.
Dr. Mala Tripathi, Assistant Professor of Yogic Sciences, gave the welcome note, and the Chancellor, Prof. PK Khosla, and Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Atul Khosla, honoured Dr. Ajeet Tiwari with the Himachali Cap and Kullu Shawl.
On the occasion, Prof. P.K. Khosla talked about Ayurveda and its importance in the modern era. Dr. Ajeet Tiwari explained how we can prevent and treat the disease and maintain our health. He also explained the importance of ancient Ayurvedic knowledge with respect to scientific aspects.
While addressing the audience, the Vice-Chancellor of Shoolini University, Prof. Atul Khosla, motivated all the participants and said how we can spread our ancient knowledge all over the world and bring our heritage back.
In the evening, a special consultation was held for all teaching and non-teaching employees of the university. Faculty members from different departments went to Dr. Ajeet Tiwari for Nadi Parikshan to get help with their health problems.
The workshop was also attended by Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Ancient Indian Wisdom, Prof. Manju Jaidka, Head of the School of Ancient Indian Wisdom and Yogic Studies, Dr. Subodh Saurabh Singh, and Shoolini faculty and staff. The first day of the workshop was concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Mala Tripathi and Research Associate Ms. Suman Rawat.
