Work with coordination to make HP Shiva project successful: Jagat Singh Negi

                   A review meeting of Himachal Pradesh Subtropical Horticulture Irrigation and Value Addition Project (HP Shiva) was held here today under the chairmanship of Horticulture Minister Jagat Singh Negi with Jal Shakti and Horticulture Department.

The Minister said that HP Shiva was an important which will ensure unprecedented development in the field of Horticulture. To make the project successful, the concerned departments should work with unison and the project works should be monitored from time to time so that it can be implemented in a time bound manner.

He took information from the officials of Jal Shakti Department about the progress of various irrigation schemes being implemented under the project. He said that all these schemes should be completed on time.

To make the HP Shiva project successful on the ground, the Horticulture Minister directed the officers of the department to go to the field to know the problems of the stakeholders and solve them there and then. He said that the objective of the state government was to make the schemes and their benefits down to the people in time.
