Women’s Day celebrated with eSports tournament at Shoolini Univ

To celebrate International Women’s Day, Shoolini University organised an electrifying eSports Tournament, highlighting the growing presence of women in gaming and technology. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from female gamers who showcased their skills in popular games such as BGMI, Among Us, VR games, and car racing.
The tournament was inaugurated by Prof. Kesari Singh, Dean Undergraduate Studies and OSD to Vice Chancellor, Shoolini University, who emphasised the importance of inclusivity and empowerment in the digital space. She praised the participants for their dedication and highlighted how gaming platforms are becoming valuable spaces for skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Director Sustainability at Shoolini University, stated, “Women are breaking barriers in every field, and gaming is no exception. Events like this encourage young women to explore opportunities in technology and digital platforms, paving the way for greater representation in these fields.”
The tournament provided a platform for female gamers to challenge stereotypes and excel in a competitive digital arena. Their impressive performances underscored the rising influence of women in eSports, AI, and coding.
