Where Did Billions and Government Loans Go? – Ghanashyam Sharma

Shimla, March 5, 2025 – Ghanashyam Sharma, National Senior Vice President of the Bharatiya Rajya Pension Mahasangh, questioned the Himachal Pradesh government over its financial mismanagement. He criticized the Congress-led government, which came to power with promises of “system change,” for failing to address the plight of senior citizens and former government employees.

He alleged that for the past two years, the government has not released medical allowance payments, causing distress among retirees, many of whom have passed away due to a lack of medical support. Sharma demanded a white paper on whether ministers and legislators also face similar payment delays.

Sharma also accused the government of lavish spending on ministers and officials while claiming financial distress. He stated that the previous BJP government at least paid one installment of pending dues, but the current administration has not given “a single rupee” to former employees.

He warned that retired employees and senior citizens are now awakened, hinting at possible protests and political consequences.
