Shimla, Dec 24

Himachal Pradesh is anticipated to experience deteriorating weather conditions once again, with the possibility of rain and snowfall in the central and upper mountainous regions on December 29 and 30, according to the Meteorological Center in Shimla. The clear weather that prevailed during Christmas is expected to change, raising hopes for rain and snowfall in the early days of the new year.

However, until December 28, the weather is expected to remain clear throughout the state. On Sunday, most regions of the state witnessed an improvement in temperature due to the presence of sunlight. Cities such as Shimla, Dharamshala, Dalhousie, Kullu, and Manali experienced a rise in minimum and maximum temperatures.

In the sole cold desert region, the mercury is hovering around minus 1.8 degrees Celsius. The weather is expected to remain clear for the next five days, leading to further improvement in temperatures. The Bilaspur and Hamirpur regions are currently witnessing morning fog, causing discomfort due to dry cold.
