Water Sports & River Rafting Training Camp for Chamba Youth in November

Chamba, Sept 21: District Tourism Development Officer Rajiv Mishra announced that the Chamba administration, in collaboration with the Tourism and Civil Aviation Department, will organize basic training courses in water sports and river rafting for local youth in November 2025. Each batch will include 30 participants. The 14-day water sports course will be held at Pong Dam, Kangra, while the 14-day river rafting course will take place at Piradi Rafting Centre, Kullu. Eligible candidates must be residents of Chamba, aged 18–45, with a minimum qualification of Class 10 (Class 8 for experienced candidates). Applications must be submitted by October 5, 2025, at the District Tourism Office, Chamba, with required documents and a fee of ₹1,000.
