Kangra, Dec 17- The result of the general knowledge examination conducted on November 20, 2022 by the Kangra branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari was declared Saturday.
About two thousand students of class IX to XII from Kangra and Mandi districts of Himachal Pradesh had participated in this examination. The 15 toppers will be honored in a program to be organised at Dronacharya Post Graduate College of Education at Rait, Shahpur, District Kangra, on January 12, 2023, on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti being organized by Vivekananda Kendra, Kangra. January 12, is celebrated every year as Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day.
In the results of this examination, declared today Disha (Government Senior Secondary School, Bagli), Divya Jyoti (Bhartiya Vidyapeeth School, Baijnath) and Arshiya (M.C.M.D.A.V., Kangra) secured first, second and third positions respectively in class XII. Anitya Dhiman (Rainbow International School Nagrota Bagwan), Samaira Grover (G.A.V. Public School Kangra) and Piyush (Scholars International School Ghurkari) of class XI secured first, second and third position respectively. In Class X, Abhishek Kapoor, Sanvi and Ayush of Rainbow International School Nagrota Bagwan secured first, second and third position respectively.
In Class IX, Ashima Jamwal, Kaushik Kapoor and Janvi from Rainbow International School secured first, second and third positions respectively. Sujal Bharti, Kiran Thakur and Radhika secured first, second and third position respectively.
Among the participating students of Government Degree College Lad Bhadol, District Mandi in this competition Sujal Bharti, Kiran Thakur and Radika bagged first, second and third position respectively.
In this result, 10 out of the top 15 positions were secured by girls.
The purpose of this event is to make the students of Himachal Pradesh familiar with the pattern and process of competitive examinations, as well as to make them aware and motivated for activities related to studies.
