Vikramaditya Singh Announces Key Development Projects for Dodra Kwar Region
1 min readPublic Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh announced the completion of metaling on the Dodra Kwar road by October 2025. Addressing a gathering, he also stated that the construction of a road connecting Chivaud Kanchi to Uttarakhand has commenced. Singh assured the timely completion of various projects, including the new building of the Government Senior Secondary School, Kwar, by March 2025.
Highlighting the region’s tourism potential, he emphasized developing Chanshal as an eco-tourism destination, which will create sustainable employment opportunities. He also assured locals that the government is committed to granting OBC status to the region’s residents and would take up the matter with the central government if needed.
During his visit, Singh inaugurated several projects, including the commencement of road construction to the Pandar village and an ambulance route estimate for Dodra village. He also pledged ₹51,000 for the temple committee and assured the construction of a rest house and temple guest house in Dodra.
The minister addressed issues of synthetic drug abuse in the region, urging collective efforts to combat the menace. Locals welcomed him with enthusiasm, recalling former Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s contributions to the region’s development.
